We do not collect, harvest, store, or transmit any personal identification or telemetry data. All calendars, ring profiles, tasks, notes, configurations, and category parameters you create are saved locally in a sandboxed, secure database directly on your mobile device.
Because we do not use remote servers to log your activity, your daily schedules, routines, and performance logs are 100% private to you.
2. Device Permissions Used
To deliver modern visual scheduling and alarm alerts, CalendarPie requires specific permissions on your Android device. Each permission is used purely for functional, on-device operations:
- com.android.vending.BILLING (In-App Billing): Required to process secure, one-time purchases for CalendarPie Pro upgrades (such as custom colors and ringtones) directly through the Google Play Store billing engine.
- android.permission.USE_EXACT_ALARM: Essential to trigger visual alarms and tasks at precise times without being delayed by standard Android battery-saving cycles.
- android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Allows the application to show notifications and system bars when tasks are due or when an alarm is actively ringing.
- android.permission.WAKE_LOCK: Wakes the device display temporarily when a scheduled alarm rings, ensuring you see the visual alert.
- android.permission.INTERNET: Used exclusively for communicating with Google Play Billing Services for Pro transactions and validating status, and for processing offline backup structures initiated by you.
3. Third-Party Services
Our application uses secure, standard Google services for deployment and in-app transactions:
- Google Play Services: Used to securely distribute app updates, protect app integrity, and manage licensing.
- Google Play Billing Library: Processes credit/debit card transactions safely. We never see or store your payment details.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Since your calendar schedule remains entirely on-device inside a local SQLite (Room) Database, we do not store your data. If you wish to delete your data completely, you can:
- Use the backup options inside the application to clear current databases.
- Clear the application's cache/storage from your Android device settings.
- Uninstall the application from your device, which automatically removes all associated local databases.
5. Children's Privacy
Our application does not request, collect, or process any personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. CalendarPie is completely safe for all audiences.
